Why I can't activate the license key?

The reason for this might be the fact that your license has expired and you need to renew it. Please make sure your license key is valid before trying to activate it.

We have also noticed that sometimes people confuse the license key with the purchase receipt ID trying to activate the latter as if it was the license key. Please make sure you are trying to activate the license key but not the Receipt ID! ;)
